Does anyone else use these? I was an Ernie Ball regular slinky guy but wanted a beefier tone. I tried a set of SIT POWER WOUND nickel and I am convert I like getting the guitar in tune and no wrestling with it all night to keep it there. On my acoustics i was a hard core Martin Marquis Phosphor Bronze guy... Then swtched went to D'addario. I was so happy with SIT electric strings that I put a set of their ROYAL BRONZE phosphors on my masterbilt.... I think I am a complete convert to their strings.

I like nickel strings for Fender-scale guitars. And I loves me some D'Addario .012 Phosphor Bronze for my acoustic.

Call them and tell them your gig schedule, you could be their next featured artist.
Hmmmmm just talked to a rep. His thoughts after talking to me were 'I AM SURE WE CAN WORK SOMETHING OUT " so it is possible I will get a sponsorship. According to him, they do notngive FREE stuff to local artists BUT I will get big discounts on strings and mayne free swag.... No idea.

That's better than a kick in the knee now isn't it!?

Awesome man, where can you buy them? I might try a few sets.

I buy em at my local guitar shop. I would imagine most decent sized shops would have em.

For years I have been using the Gibson Vintage reissues on my electrics and the Fender acoustic strings, have been so happy with both that I havn`t tried any other brands in years.

But... but... for that "special tone", aren't we supposed to use Ernie Ball Power Slinky RPS 11-48 strings?
On a Les Paul?
With "those" pickups?

:dunno:

I've never tried the SIT stuff, and they've been around a while. I feel like I should buy them, they are made in Akron OH, less than 30 minutes from where I live. I think it's time I give 'em a try, give a good local company some business.

I just like em. I bend the shit outta strings when I play trying to find the note I missed lol. They just stay in tune. I had a set of Daddarios on my acoustic. They jad been through one show. I put the royal phosphor SIT strings on it and got it tuned up. Wife was in the kitchen and commented on how much better it sounded. Imagination maybe but as I said I like em

I played SIT for a while when they first came out way back. Very good strings... They did stay in tune well...

I found later I liked the tone of D'Ads more and played those for loooong long time....

Last few years I've used Gibson Brite Wires on all my guitars... 10's Gib scale, 9's Fender scale....
NYXLs on all my basses though (IV and IVs)....best bass string out there so far in my book...
