Here is my twangy pair.

2016 Fender American Special from CME in fiesta red that I tweaked a little bit. Black pickguard, vintage style tuners, and removed the grease bucket tone circuit. Put a lot of miles on this one since I bought it.

2020 or 2021 Fender Custom Shop Wildwood 10 1962 Telecaster Custom. Finally saved up and committed to buying my dream tele and very glad I did. Just all the tele I could ever want or need.

I also have a Baja. Sold my Am standard tele to buy a one after trying one my friend has. Love em View attachment 575433
That's excellent. I like the look of these, the neck, radius, and the bridge pickup is pretty great on these imo. It's a keeper.
The only thing I changed, just a cple months ago, was installing Gotoh compensated brass saddles. Nice improvement with intonation plus there is a slight notch for the strings.

I just assembled this Cabronita. The Esquire I posted a couple of pages back was so heavy that I wasn't playing it much, so I swapped some parts around. I now have three Tele bodies but only two necks.

It is finished in 'Pewter' but looks more like a dark blue in the photos. Some nitro checking as it was a 'closet relic' finish I unwittingly bought (but quite like now I've got it all together). TV Jones Classic/Classic Plus.

Just after I finished wiring it and stringing it up for the first time:

Feels like a Tele, but sounds more like a Gretsch (on steroids).

Just picked this one up, for the money vs tone I am pretty stoked. Also never played an Esquire so interested to see what it can do, my guess is the Tele thing really well

Says it will be here Wednesday, perfect timing for a 5 day weekend

Currently Teleless... Darn:hmm:

Same here. Having been a tele guy for years, it definitely feels weird.

I looked into trading my '19 LP classic (that's just not getting played) for a LPB 60s vintera +$$ but wasn't overly thrilled so didn't pursue the deal.

Have been hankering though. Maybe a custom?

It will, I'm sure, do part of the Tele thing really well - but to my ear, the true magic of a Tele is the neck p/u.

Or maybe a 20 yr old Classic 60s... Just came today.

Glad to have one after a few years of being teleLess. Feels right.

i assembled the red one in early 2021 and coincidentally just got it back in a trade 3 days ago after someone else owned it for nearly a year. the relic work seemed lacking to me before so now that it came home again, i amended it, i think it looks better now.
