Vintera 50s Tele in Fiesta Red. Really great bang for the buck guitar - I'm super impressed with the stuff coming from the MIM shop over the past few years. They are punching above their weight class for sure.

Here is one I put together out of all new parts.
USA standard neck
Fender tuners, back plate etc
Lindy Fralin pickups
Babicz Full Contact bridge
Warmouth Alder chambered body with maple cap

Really like this guitar, deceptively warm in the neck position

Wish I still had my '73 Tele Custom. Was a great rock axe, had that Keef wibe about it. It's the only Fender I shouldn't have sold when I decided to get rid of them all way back...

EDIT: See below. A happiest camper ever again.

My new Partscaster: 1956 Double bound Telecaster Thinline.

....wait, what?!?

Yes, I know the historical accuracy is beyond good and bad. But who cares?

From 1950: Fender Custom Shop Nocaster Pickups with Nocaster wiring (capacitor on the neck pickup / neck pickup no load / bridge pickup with neck pickup to blend in, no Tone Control), luxe capacitors, CTS "TVT" Series 250k calibrated Solid Shaft w/.250" Short BushingSwitch-CRL 3-Way Switch

from 1956/1957: Alder body in two tone sunburst, One piece AAAAA-Maple neck, single ply thinline pickguard (ultra rare with only 11 screws) and the tweed case. In my opinion the best look in the fender history! The alder body ist made like a Gibson ES style guitar (contrary to the routed ash body that Fender makes).

from 1959/1960: the double binding. Works well with the thinline look.

from 1969: thinline concept and layout

Overall weight: 2,6kg
