Some love them... for others, red doesn't work at all. I love red guitars. In particular all red Les Pauls. Let us see yours.

Here is mine:
I got this Les Paul Studio 2016 T in Radiant Red the other day. Sensational color. And plays as sensationally as it looks.

i’ve been eyeballing the recent Classics, as I’ve always thought red was a cool color for a Les Paul and wondered why we don’t see more of it.

I just can’t justify adding another Classic to the herd based solely on color.

What the hell am I talking about?
Sure I can!

Of course you can. Do it!
You can't have enough LPs... Classic models in particular are a good basis for growth.
Apart from that, red Classics are killer.

Right on.
My 2000 Classic was my 3rd Les Paul, but my first keeper.
I love the slim taper neck.

There it is, bottom right! Les Paul Signature “T” in Wine Red. Just installed a set of Custombuckers, she screams…

Just a side note, grab a JB Amos and the Duncan Amos pickups while you still can, you can thank me later, really!

Here‘s a Wine Red Studio that I’ve never played. Needed one for the collection!

No Red Lester thread is complete without DarrellV's Candy Apple Red #23 from 1982. Darrell LOVED that Lester and had quite an inspiring story about getting it years later.

RIP, Brother

"studio standard"
i’ve seen these, and I never understood the idea behind it.
If it has binding around the top, then what separates it from a standard Standard?

Its kinda vague, they also made a "studio" and a "studio custom".
This one is different from a standard because it is slightly thinner, has dot inlays and also has a silkscreened gibson logo instead of an inlaid one. Thing is way cool though. Also heavy as all hell. Glad they made it a bit thinner, as it still weighs over 10 pounds.....
When i got it it was really dried out (spent a lot of years in an old guy's really hot house without being played) so i had the frets replaced with some nice stainless jescar fw51100. I honestly think it might be my best playing guitar.
Meant to do a NGD post when I got it but never got around to it...
