Love my Juniors. There have been times when I’m recording and need a guitar solo to jump out. I’ll grab the sunburst Junior and it will just nail it. There’s something about the way it plays, sounds and reacts to what I’m playing - it’s just really comfortable for me.

OK, I will go ahead and throw my turd into the Junior punch bowl.

I’m the guy who hates wrap tailpieces enough to put a Faber TOM on a Les Paul Junior.

I found a 2005 with a slim neck that was in decent shape.
Price wasn’t bad, so I grabbed it - with every intention of performing mods.

TOM installed, along with locking Grover 502N Rotomatics and Schaller-style strap pins.

I was fully prepared to do a P-90 swap, but I have no complaints about the Gibson pickup that came with it.

If I ever started playing gigs again, this guitar would be a perfect traveler.

2020 I've changed the knobs to amber and the tailpiece to mojoaxe compensated.

It looks a little different now tortoise pg, Hipshot open locking tuners w/pearl Keystone buttons and a Lollar P-90 raised way up w/shims. 1986 bought on Reverb for under $800.00 5-6 years ago. PU/Tuners/electronics swapped out previously for garbage were all replaced. Nice chunky neck and an ability to play squeaky clean or scream like a banshee.
