Apologies if I missed it, but has a date been set for these to hit the stores?
According to someone at my local shop, Epiphone were taking orders at NAMM and they would show up sometime in February. He also said that those who didn't order at NAMM would expect them to come in May or June. So I'm hoping that they were able to get a special order in so I can get it sooner rather than later.Apologies if I missed it, but has a date been set for these to hit the stores?
Not a great picture but here it is.Pics required by Sunday, or your post will be deleted!
Thanks, I am very happy with it.It is absolutely beautiful! If I looked at it from the E tuners down, I'd swear it is a Gibson. I pray I'm lucky enough to get one of the evidently VERY LIMITED "59s! I can't find any US dealers who have them in their computers yet, and until they're issued a SKU#, they can't let you preorder them! UGH!!!!
Thank you, I've got really bad GAS for it!! If you listen to the Anderton's video of the '59, and the Modern, I've never heard a better sounding Paul of any kind. There may have been some knob turning, but it was fat, yet smooth as silk. It sounded as good, if not better than my 71 ES335 TD!!!! I just can't stop thinking about it. I'm so happy that Epiphone is making great sounding, and playing guitars that are accessable to those of us on a budget. I had to retire due to disability, and don't make $75-100 and hour, but a check from SSI for $800 a month. Thank God my house is paid for!!Thanks, I am very happy with it.
It plays and sounds great too. It definitely has the 50s neck on it.
Good luck on finding the 59. Hopefully you will get lucky and find one.
