There's a senior center a 5 min walk away in one direction and a Legion about 20 min in the other direction. I haven't been to either and don't plan on visiting.
The bar I go to occasionally is a restaurant and it's all ages. I haven't been there in six months.

You would think after 42 years of deliveries, half of them in Kingston and area, that I'd like the slower pace of Glace Bay. I miss downtown Kingston, and the Toucan and walking about with a camera. I did a lot of walking there. Here, not so much LOL.

Before I moved here, I saw that rents weren't particularly cheap, but students use a lot of the available apartments and houses.
Buying is certainly a lot cheaper, but prices are moving up slowly. Still a lot cheaper than Ontario. We all moved because home ownership just isn't possible in Ontario on our incomes. Unless you get real close to the Arctic Circle :laugh2:

I hear that.

New Brunswick seems dirty cheap house wise. (Compared) did we have a nuke plant melt down out there or is it just inhospitable weather wise ? I've done a fair amount of miles but just Quebec to West coast. No one shit in the streets when I was out West. That's how long ago that was. Rent was cheap, like $600, a G and you were styling. Now I don't think now a G would rent you much of a closet.
