this is a 1958 RI Hog Explorer in TV Yellow that I had for a short period of time. As much as I love Explorers, they are uncomfy for me to play because of my insured left shoulder which reduces my motion range by giving me severe pain when I rotate out too much, which I have to with the Explorer. Other than that, there are no better guitars than Explorers in my book
On the left is my brand new Gibson Explorer in Antique Natrual. It's a 2022. On the right is my 2002 in ebony, probably the best playing guitar I have ever laid my hands on, and I've even played 2 bursts. I really like the feel of Gibsons with unbound necks.
