Hoping to Get some quick awnsers about possible reasons to this SG’s inconsistensies.

the serial number sais 2013 modell, But everything else sais its newer! Was sold in store as a 2019 model last year. The dealer said they must have mixed up with a Model they had on storage and a new one. But i cant Get the pots/electric board, pickguard or tuners to match a 2013 modell?! Everything but the serial number sais 2019 in my eyes.

last picture is of a 2013

I can't read the serial clearly in that shakey pic.

Is it 19003xxx? If so it has to be 2019, because there wasn't a 900th day in 2013.

I'm with you on it being a 2019. Here is another SG Standard from 2019, and the serial is exactly like yours, and Grover tuners as well:

Yes, it’s a 2019.

From 2014 to early 2019 the first two digits indicate the year....by mid 2019 the serial reverted back to the old serial type using the 1st and 5th digit.

I own both 2019 serial versions.

What do You guys think about tue «made In USA» stamp not showing? Hidden under a thick paint layer or not stamped at all? Did send gibson cc pictures hoping for some form of documentation of authentisity.

It’s hard to see with some finishes. This is my 2012 61 reissue. Yours looks real, no way they faked that circuit board.

Opaque finishes are really thick, sometimes filling in the stamping. This is my 2004 SG Classic. Photo makes it appear the stamping is not there, but it is visible when viewing in person.

Thanks guys! This one looks a lot like your examples, so it makes sense being just the thick paint
