SG Special Nibs?

Just got in a 2019 SG Special. It’s a special AMS run of Inverness Green. It has no fret nibs…what’s up with that? Is that normal on Specials?

No binding or Nibs on my "everyday" 95-01 Special

But I have a 2007 GOTW Special that's out of the ordinary, It has a Standard neck with inlays, binding and Nibs. It's 1 of 400.

So I'm going with sometimes

My 2019 SG Special has nibs. It is just the regular run, Vintage Sparkling Burgundy.

maybe it has already been refreted removing the nibs and using a original owner preferred fret size???
did you buy it new or used?
