Ok mi LP's serial # is 0805203600 i'm tryin to figure out where and when it was made... I could use some help!

Can I ask a serious question though?

My brand new honeyburst plus top has the serial nymber 0805121512.

I've asked in a couple of threads if anyone could identify the factory this was made in and nobody could help. If Sinmastah is correct I'm guessing this means my guitar was made in Qingdao on May 12, 2008 and is production number 1512, but as I understand it all plants in China from 2008 have dropped the letter prefix's and just go by numbers so if the numbers only signify production date and production # how can we know it was made in Qindao?

It would mae sense. I would be proved wrong however if there was a serial number like 080650xxxx because that is more than the days in a month. But until I am proven wrong I will stick w/ my answer

That was the first place I tried it doesn't recognise modern Epihone serial numbers without two letter prefix's
