Serial Numbers

Does anyone know how to identify the year of production from the S/N ?

to hopefully simplify...apparently my LP is either a 91 or 95

Gibson Support - Serial Number Search

Just look for you model and check out the serial scheme for that model there.

If you post your model here someone can ask for the part of the serial number that id's the year for that model and help also, but the Gibson site will have all the info you need.
