Schaller problem with my JPP

I've had Schaller's installed on my JPP since I got the guitar in 2005 never had a problem always worked great until these last couple of weeks. Whenever I swing the guitar one way or another when I play and jam with my band the strap-lock closest to the neck always just pops right out! Just as it does when u pull the little button on top to take the strap off. I'm wondering if there is anyway to solve this problem as I dont really want to buy another set of Schallers.

It's mechanical and relies on metal to metal contact. Both these things fail over time. Every few years they need to be replaced.

Reverse the strap and see if the problem follows the strap lock or the button - that will tell you which one is worn and needs to be replaced.
