My low E string likes to pop out of its saddle notch if I strum hard. That saddle doesn't appear to be as deeply notched as the rest of them. Any suggestions to fix this? Can I replace an individual saddle? It's an ABR-1 bridge with the wire.

You certainly can replace an individual saddle if you want. I would switch out the shallow saddle with one of the ones that you say is cut deeper. Problem solved. The only thing that might complicate the switch is if your bridge is wired.

If your going to file it, do so lightly, a few strokes and then test. go too deep and you will need a new saddle, also dont go wider.

Why replace the saddle ? when you have to file that 1 anyway . File the saddle that's already there ,slowly and test often . ^ Geez

^Fight! .... Geez :laugh2:

But seriously just file the one you have deeper. You can even use an old string to do it.

well I was going to say that but......GEEZE! :D

Before you start filing slots, did you check to see if its possible the bridge may be on backwards, or it could have previously been strung for a lefty? :hmm:
Some good closeup shots may help.

Taking a needle file to the saddle with care and common sense
would be logical as well as other advise above. It's not rocket science.
If you're not confident in doing so, simply take it to someone
For evaluation. Seems simple.
Just say'n...
