I agree with what you said about the penalty but it is not the french team's fault and yes we are conscient our level is not as good as what we have already shown in the past.

YAY All Blacks, was a convincing win against the Wallabies. Bloody hard game though - Christ, more blood than a vampire movie!! Trans Tasman at its finest. Looking forward to the final and the bronze play off, should be some brilliant rugby in both matches (go the Welshies LOL). Hope the Welch get to play a full game with 15 players this time.

I didn't say it was the French's fault. I said it was a disgraceful refereeing decision that tilted the balance heavily in France's favour. there is a difference.

The All Blacks were awesome today, and fully deserved the win. An absolutely superb example of full back play from the NZ No. 15. His reading of the game was excellent, he was always well-positioned to take any kicks from the Aussies, he cleared his lines superbly when the need arose, and he linked well with the backs when the opportunity presented itself. If any young lads wants to be a full back, they should be sat down and made to watch this game, and told 'this is how you do it correctly'.

Hey John, yep the French are often a real wildcard, which makes it even more interesting, and I expect they will play like demons in the final.

Rankelson, I lived and worked for 18 months in North Wales some years ago and really enjoyed it, the Welsh were very hospitable people and made me feel very welcome. Parts of Wales are very like NZ except you guys don't have the big tracts of native forest like we do. Also the sea was bloody freezing - went surfing a couple of times and end of story LOL. The major difference though - our ewes are much prettier than yours.

Before the World Cup started the IRB were stating that they were going to come down hard on spear tackles; their verdict was that it should be a straight red card with the option for yellow at the discretion of the ref. Warburton knows the rules and it was his decision to tackle in that manner. Spear tackles are potentially lethal and are unnecessary. He paid the penalty.Tough shit.

The replay of Quaid Cooper's knee blowing out had me wincing though - youch! The Wallabies game changed after that - he is a great play maker. Looking forward to the final tomorrow night - go the All Blacks ka nui te kaha!!
