I think Wales have a real chance in this tournament, Rank - much as it pains me to say it!
I have to agree Nick,I say that without patriotism
New Zealand and Austrailia looked fallible today
Lets all be British from today and support the sheepshaggers :D

Well I'm normally a Wallabies fan, but my last name is Welsh.. So I'm gonna cheer for them I believe.

If Wales win the cup then there sure will be a shortage of Brain's beyond the English border. I will be cheering them on.

Pesky Frogs 9 V 8 Wales
Wales should have won
Had our captain sent off in the 1 st half
14 welshmen outplayed 15 French
All good stuff though

That referee was a [email protected] You should feel cheated.
He let the guy go. Doubtful it was even a yellow.
No guarantee you would have won, but the French have to be the worst team to ever have got to the final.

Injuries to key positions didn't help either, although looks like you guys brought a ringer in. Faletau doesn't look very Welsh to me. He was the best player on the pitch.
Phillips try was magic.

Sad to see the Welsh go down, they played with so much heart. It would have been good to see a Welsh All Blacks final. Oh well, go the AB's for tomorrow.

$40 dolalrs???

I wish! Just went online to check on prices for the first Eagles home game.. The cheapest tickets available, up in the nosebleed sections were starting at $172.50 for a single ticket. The lower sections closer to the field are selling for $425 each.

First I thought this was due to being the first home game so I went and looked at future dates.. Prices for every home game start at $142.50 for the nosebleed seats up to $430 for the lower level seats.

I would love to go just once to watch a pro football game in person, but at those prices no fking way!

Wow; I just took the wife to her first pro game last weekend and I gave $50 per ticket. Bought off Craigslist; the actual face value was $52 each. I guess it all depends on what part of the country you're in.

Hey guys ! I just wanna ask you why you seem so virulent about the French team... I'm French and I gotta say I thought the welsh were gonna win the match mainly because of their very strong defense but it happened to turn differently. I'm sorry if you feel disappointed but the game was fair and if the welsh had won this game we would have respected them and even supported them for the final.

The game wasn't fair because the referee gave the French an incredibly unfair advantage with the straight red card to the Welsh captain. With the advantages of modern technology now in the game of Rugby, it was a disgrace that he did not at least consult a video replay (which is instantly available) to determine the scale of the offence. Had he done so, it would have been yellow, at the most.

It appears to be an increasing trend that officials in ball sports make horrendously wrong decisions (witness the ridiculous sending-off of an Everton player in the Everton v. Liverpool football game a couple of weeks ago, when the Everton player made a hard, fair, tackle and was given a straight red!), which ruin a sporting spectacle.

Apart from three penalty kicks today, I have to say the French were poor - not the kind of display seen from French teams of the past. Having said that, the English team were even worse last week and deserved to lose to the French.

Well I agree with what he said, plus no one likes the French........:laugh2:
