Rolling the Fret Board Edge's

I Just spent the last 4 hours rolling the edge's on my fret board, I got to tell you it's feeling pretty nice. Here's a couple shots of the edge's and the tools I used..

Good job,
I just recently did this to my 2000 R9 and B7 and i agree it makes a huge difference.
It now feels a lot better and more like my vintage 54.
2000 RI's have particularly sharp edges on the binding (have 2 from this year) and i wonder why Gibson were always too lazy to do this from that period.

Now that's something I don't know how to do, I'll go to YouTube and take a quick course on it, Lol Kidding kind of..

Thanks I'm pretty pleased with the out come. , Looking at the photo it appears as if the white part of the binding really sticks out But looking with the naked eye One cant even tell unless your right on top of it,
But the feeling is a beautiful thing. Yeah I don't know why Gibson doesn't do it???

That's fine though, my vintage 54 looks the same as do most vintage standard and customs.
As the yellowing finish wares away from years of playing it leaves the binding exposed and therefore lighter in colour on the top edge.

Hey I know this thread is pretty old but I’ve been looking into doing this for my LP Studio Faded and I’m not sure how to do it. Any tips or direction on technique? My wife bought me a fret leveling / filing kit some years ago but never used it. Thanks!

Makes a world of difference, I recently did it to mine, which had the fretboard replaced, and became familiar again:
