maybe if your gay
that sounds kinda dirty![]()
I took a couple of weeks away from the guitar due to my right thumb hurting - I blame the LP's poor upper fret access. I went to play a bit yesterday, and now the game's not accepting any sound from my bridge pickup. I hear the sound coming through the TV. Or rather, I hear the note for a second, then it cuts out. On every note, which is just strange. But the game doesn't acknowledge even that. Neck pickup registers OK. Went and plugged into my amp to make sure that it wasn't a problem on the guitar. Everythings fine, so I just played there instead.
So the problem is either an odd glitch on starting up the game, or my cable is starting to give out. I was considering pickup up the Queen song pack too, but if it's the cable (which has been sitting neatly in my guitar case for the past 3 weeks), I'm not going to buy a new one for $30 if they break this easily. I'll just trade the game in.
So im obviously hella late on this but i just bought it. Ive been playing for 20 years now and im still kind of a hack.... Does anyone think this will truly teach me something and help build accuracy and speed?

I like that- quite a setup. I might have to come up with something like that.Yep, the RS cables seem to get "broken" very easily.
I don't even "use" the cable, per se. I just have it tucked in behind a patch panel. I have a "real" guitar cable run to the patch panel. That way there is no stress on the RS cable. You could also use a tuner pedal or such, the same way.
This is the xbox plugged into the patch panel, with a guitar cable connected to the patch panel.
