Glad to say that mine is encouraging of me doing awesome things. ...like playing Rocksmith and Dead Space 2! Our only problem is when she wants to play and I don't want to stop. Time to get that second controller cable. I already got a beater SG that can live behind the couch with my Strat for game use.

Just a heads up for those that havent picked it up yet. @Gamer (the gaming magazine that Best Buy puts out) will have a coupon for $20 off Rocksmith in the November issue. Knocks the price down to $60, not so bad... Hoping the game goes on sale at some point too (Black Friday!!) so we could use the coupon on top of the sale price. We can hope...

I think it is more of a teaching tool then a game....even the "game" aspects teach you quite a bit.

My kid was shooting ducks with me last night...and he was having fun with it....is that not what it is all about? Play a game and learn to play at the same time.

Thanks for asking! I was wondering about DLC too! But is it FREE DLC? I better look into this. I've had the game since it came out but only got to spend any real time on it today. So far so good! Sure pinpoints my faults! LOL

If you bought from Best Buy, apparently they were supposed to give you a code for Freebird and the other even if you didn't pre-order. I called 'em last night at 1am, explained that I wasn't given the code at purchase time, and they gave me one.

Forget trying to call during the day. Hold times are 20-30 minutes or more.
