Hey Norlin fam!

I finally restrung my new LPC and took a look under the pickups and TRC.

I have a photo of the back of the head stock too.

I’m hoping to confirm this is an ‘84, what pickups I have in my guitar, and if the neck is maple.

any help is greatly appreciated

February 23th, 1984.

Just so you know:
For 8 digits serial numbers, the pattern is as follows:
YDDDYRRR
YY is the production year
DDD is the day of the year
RRR is the factory ranking/plant designation number.

And since the first R is a 5 your guitar was made at the Nashville plant.
Prior to 1984, first R being a 4 meant made at the Kalamazoo plant.

The pickups are most likely "Tim Shaw" humbuckers which were installed on all Custom's at the time.

A Wine Red Custom is always nice to look at.
