Is there a known, reliable way to cleanly, securely, and (for lack of a better word) legitimately replace/restore a Gibson headstock logo?
I have an awesome deal lined up for a 1968 ES-335, which is in fantastic condition, the only major issue being that almost the entire "n" at the end of the headstock logo is missing.
I thought I saw replacement logos online, but I could be mistaken. I imagine that is mucky waters for Gibson copyrights...?
Overall, I just want to know if I should even bother buying this guitar or not (or in my case, drive 3 hours to go check it out in person.)
Thanks!
