Is this seriously still a thing?

And this guy has the gall to ask $499 for this?

$100 bucks more, and you can get a brand spankin’ new one.. I just don’t get it.. who would pay a hundred bucks less for something that looks like it’s been buttfucked by a woodchipper?

People are fuckin’ dumb..

Did something stupid and took a chunk out of his guitar. Cried and didn’t want it any more because his pride and joy had been defiled....

Had a GREAT idea! Turn lemons in to lemonade. Get new guitar.

Relicers gonna relic.

cheers.

I have a dilemma. My '85 Strat has a maple fretboard where the finish has worn away in many places. It looks kinda cool. When I go to sell it, should I saw it shows signs of age and wear or that it has been reliced? :hyper:

he just needs better marketing....

Custom shop master "Timmy--Aged" Gretsch!

Get that great Gretsch sound with a great Gretsch gouge!

that'll probably triple the asking price overnight.
(you can thank me later...)

I once had a fleeting thought about relicing a Tele. Then, Like Randy said, I ended up doing it the hard way. I played the shit out of it for many years.

My new Vintera '50s Tele is so shiny that I think it needs a roughening of the finish. And maybe subjecting the metal bits to exposure to vinegar fumes overnight.

I messaged him on Reverb.. seller did this himself.. trying my best to resist the urge to make him feel like shit.. I’m actively working on my anger issues.

I’m probably still going to rip him a new one:laugh2:

I can buy that exact guitar in near mint condition for $389. I think I'll do the relic'ing myself.
