Relic/Aged Top Hat Knob shortage

Brek, thanks for the reply. I'll have to e-mail them. I'm in the States so I'm curious how they compare to the kinds you can get through Mark's Guitar Loft, Creamtone, or Retrospec. I think people have said the Gibson True Historic knobs are the closest but I don't think Gibson sells those separately.

no experience of those i'm afraid, marks sound promising though.

Here are some pics comparing Gibson True Historic (my favorite) along with Montreux Time Machine and Mark’s Guitar Loft (purchased a few years ago). All have similar fairly correct bell shape, which all the pricier ones seem to have that really sets them apart from the pre-TH Gibson and most other aftermarket versions. The Montreux and MGL are very similar, with just a bit of color difference.
