Meh... Every time some web site or message board changes stuff a bunch of people go ballistic, threaten to leave to never come back then start posting somewhere else for a little while. Eventually (sooner than later), they miss their own community and return - if they never stopped visiting there in the first place no matter how loud they complained about the changes. Sign up for Facebook for millions of prime examples.

Next thing you know, they'll be posting in your threads.... It's just a matter of time...

It should be a rule that newbies just read for the first month, and then after careful searching be allowed to post.

Couldn't see that working.
Would you join a forum if that were a rule?

Guess it's just a case of working out who the clowns are and put them on ignore or let the mods deal with them.

Why should that be so difficult? That is what I do when I join a forum. It is always better to listen and learn than to look like a dummy.

Not everyone is you though.
I was pretty quiet when I first joined.
But 1 of the first things I done was make a thread asking about fixing the broken neck on my sg.
Don't think I would have hung around if there were a waiting period.
But there wasn't near as many idiots around then.
