This does not bode well. If some of the latest antics are representative of them.

I think what gets new members' panties wadded is that they see the antics of more seasoned members. As soon as they think they're having fun, everyone jumps on them. :laugh2:

As for me? When I joined up I just lingered for a while and read. I gauged the community here and slowly commented on existing threads. I seldom start threads, even now. I think a lot of newer members would do well to do the same rather than getting up in arms when they drop a deuce in the middle of MLP and get called on it. :laugh2:

What's a refugee thread?

There have been a handful of threads started by new members about being refugees from HC.

If they would stop to consider that a lot of us "know" each other here on MLP for 2 - 3 years and we chide each other without meaning what is actually being said. It should be a rule that newbies just read for the first month, and then after careful searching be allowed to post.
