Grain filler added and sanding sealer done. Gonna wait for it to cure and spray the base coat.

Sorry, no pics of grain filler action - I had my father doing it while I was out of town over the weekend.

Sand and sealer completed and sanded and first coat of primer was sprayed last night. Starting to look white! Gotta sand this coat of primer then shoot another then I'll be ready for the color.

Thanks man.

Minor setback... I let my dad tape the fretboard and he over taped on the top of the neck and there is still a little bare wood with no primer... Now he gets to sand it down and lay down some new primer there after it gets re-taped.

New knobs and bridge pickup cover showed up today, neck pickup cover should be here today or tomorrow.

Getting ready to start spraying the color.

Primer is done, will do a bit of sanding on it and lay the first color coat down this morning.

Pickup rings came in, I LOVE the nickel pickup covers and chrome rings, humbuckers just look better covered IMO.

Couldn't help myself, wanted a shot of the pick guard sitting on it. Couple more coats of color then will shoot the clear and let her cure for a few weeks before the final sand and buff. Can't wait to put a bone nut on it, set it up and play the shit out of her. Looking purdy!

That looks great, man!
Any chance you might paint the headstock in white?

The headstock will be white except for the black holly/veneer/whatever it is on the "face" of the headstock. That'll stay black.
