The price tag was certainly up there, but if the buyer had to have it then I hope they're happy with it.

What would be a good price in this condition? Like 2500.00.

It's so hard to buy a guitar without playing it first, but this one does look clean.

So it's 37 years old, about the same time people started going crazy for the 1958-60 Burst era guitars. The wood is nice and dry, on this Lux add another 500.00 to get it to the US.

It's kinda cool, even if a little high priced. Anyways, someone was willing to pull the trigger, so I guess condition still does carry a heavy premium.

The problem with owning one like this is you wouldn't want to play it in order to maintain its case queen status. I would think you could get a pretty nice original one that you weren't afraid to gig / play for a a lot less. Maybe no Norlin sticker though....
