My 2019 R0's red binding has completely faded. The top has faded quite a bit as well.
What’s the Burst color on your guitar? Is it Antiquity Burst?

Do you often play your Pelham Blue right after playing your R0? Then it’s likely red dye from the R0 getting on your shirt and transferring to the Pelham. And since you wear black shirts your likely just not seeing it. Try wearing an old white shirt for a while as you play the R0 and see if it gets a little pinkish.Ohhh...yeah It's always in the pink case when It's not in use...I didn't think of that. That must be it.
Yes I do play them both pretty often when practicing. That could very well be what's happening.Do you often play your Pelham Blue right after playing your R0? When I got my first RI (an R8) I was constantly A/Bing it against my Honeyburst Trad (with a brown back)... and red dye from the R8 got transferred onto me and then to the Trad in the form of light pink on the binding and body.
That is awsome…you even have the spot around the poker chip, where it didnt fade. Here is my 2019 R9My 2019 R0's red binding has completely faded. The top has faded quite a bit as well.
It was originally dark cherry sunburst. What’s the Burst color on your guitar? Is it Antiquity Burst?
It's the pore/grain filler that has the aniline dye..... not the lacquer..... it would be clear or sometimes it would be a slight amber or yellow,...it depends about what year the historic was made. The back is not sprayed in red tint. If you find a chip that is red,... it's because the nitro lacquer absorbed the dye just like the binding.... which isn't the binding,...it's the lacquer over the binding.there's bleed and then there's what you describe which i have no idea how it is so thick. My 2020 R0 has the most dye bleed I have ever seen on a RI, to the point of ridiculousness, after two years it has faded back quite a bit. I think the base coat cherry red was sprayed way too thick on my example.
