I ordered Halloween (1978) the 4k UHD bluray last week, it was supposed to get here on Monday, it arrived today (Friday). It was also a Prime order.

Usually though they do alright. Why they're letting 3rd member parties sell shit like it's eBay, and then having the balls to call those items Prime items like they have them in an Amazon warehouse is beyond me. I've only had like 3-4 items really be late though. Out of an embarrassing amount of Amazon orders.

Not to mention, i dont believe you could have preordered RDR2 back in 2016. Pretty sure the preorders started earlier this year. I think most peoples main hobby is just bitching.

I'm almost positive my preorder with gamestop was from 2017 or earlier. Whenever they got their first round of posters they got my cash.

Pre-ordered mine the day before at GameStop and walked in and picked it up that night at 9pm.

There was a time when if you didn’t pre-order a game, there was no way you were going to get it day one. Now, it’s much more available on release.

Still haven’t played it though. Been working all week in LA. Spent 20 hours on the road back and forth since Monday. Heard it’s good!

As someone who used to work for a company that had an e-commerce arm that sold via Amazon, that's how most things on Amazon are. It only comes from an Amazon warehouse if it says "fulfilled by Amazon" on the listing, otherwise it's sorted, packed, and dispateched by the seller, using a courier of their choice. I'd wager that the vast majority of Amazon listings are fulfilled by sellers not by Amazon. Prime just means "free next day", so as long as the third-party sellers use express shipping, they ARE Prime items.

It usually works fine though. I'm the same as you - I've had maybe five orders from Amazon late or incorrect, and I buy basically everything on Amazon save for instruments and computer components.

I put in a few hours yesterday, it’s a beautiful game.
It’s rather slow moving though.
I don’t really have a huge problem with that, as I think the story is going to be incredible, but anybody thinking it’s gta on horses might be in for a bit of a surprise.

IGN gave RD2 a 10. I knew they would months ago. I'll probably buy it when thr PS Store has it on sale. Black Friday or Christmas maybe?

That gives me plenty of time to finish Dark Souls 3. I hate that F-ing game it's so hard.
