In fact, we were all cracking up the whole time, a non-stop barrage of jokes. I wanted a picture, so I gave my phone to one of the boys, and threw my arm over Dave's shoulder. But the camera was being fussy, and so we're standing there, and I look over, and say, "you know, this is gonna be awkward in just a few moments..."

At which point, of course, the camera goes off:

We pulled ourselves together for a better shot, but it took a moment.

Next time, if you can stick around a bit longer, I'm gonna put you to work for a song or two.

Ahh, but if only I had more time. I would have loved to sit in for a few. I can sing and play a bit.

It really was a great experience running into Mud and his crew. Terri (leaning on the lamppost on the right) enjoyed the meet, but she's a bit shy at first. Funny, she's the one who reminded me of going down there, "we gotta meet mudfinger, we gotta meet mudfinger. We'll come back to the family party, but let's go down there"..

..so we did. And I'm glad. Mud, we come down to LB once a month or so, and next time we'll have more time to share.. Good seeing you my friend.
