R9 Decision - Dirty Lemon or Washed Cherry

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I’m going with the Dirty Lemon. I like the overall feel, tone and look more than the Cherry. The weight of the cherry was tempting but the neck was also thinner and felt a lot like my 60’s Standard. For this guitar I wanted a bit more beef, but not as much as a 58. After years of hoping, wishing and modifying guitars to be “more like a R9” I can finally sit back, relax and just play the thing because I actually have one. The guitar has already inspired a few new riffs because of some of the new sounds I managed to squeeze out of it. Thanks again!

I checked behind the pickguard on the cherry and found something similar. Pretty cool that they do that.

Both very nice guitars but I my opinion you chose wisely, congrats!
