Both are nice. I'd approach it from a use standpoint. Since you said you're plan is to use them at home and in the studio. Spend a little time with both and run them through their paces getting different tones. See which one of the two is the most versatile. They both may sound great distorted, but what about mild overdrive, with pedals. Are they both equal? What about clean tones, is one chimey and rich while the other is clear, but strident.

There really is no right or wrong answer here, they're both great looking instruments. But as much as we all shop with our eyes first, having a great looking guitar does nothing if it doesn't fulfill our primary need.

The lemon fretboard is dark and consistent. The cherry is lighter with streaks even after I oiled it.

I don't know if this helps, but stick with the one that's either is easier to play (neck, etc.) and/or inspires you to play more/better. I think over time, no matter how much we love a specific "look," preferences do change taking second seat to playability. Dare I say, we go through phasers....see what I did there? My two main players are based solely on neck shape and tone. Units I see on the forum far exceed the looks of mine, but yet I have minimal desire to look elsewhere due mine having the aforementioned qualities. I may be playing Captain Obvious here, but........ Can't go wrong with either. If look is one of your primary criterion and if you play live, lemons tops seem to take on more diverse colors/looks under lights. Good luck. How much time do you have to decide?

On looks alone I would choose the Lemon.
But if I had the option to play both at the same time, I'm picking the one that plays the best.
