So I missed the delivery truck friday went to the office first thing yesterday morning and it wasn't there yet. Then went skiing for 1/2 day and drove back like a madman before they closed up and got her!
First I love Les Pauls since my first studio. I have played countless gigs, band practices etc with my trusty Classic (which I love) but this R8 feels so good looks so good and just sings... I love the 58 neck which is quite a bit larger then the Classic but it feels great.I cannot wait to play it through the Marshall's tonight! NICE guitar I couldn't imagine paying more money for a usa Standard when these are out there for $2200 like new. Best deal out there now but it I bet it won't last....

ps. can one of you guys decipher the serial # for me? Thanks

hey rawk, that a good looking R8 for sure.

and i share your sentiments about buying new USA models. i wonder how long it will be until you're on the prowl for another Historic, an R9 perhaps? :)
