Questions on leveling frets after glueing the fretboard...

So I glued my fretboard to my neck, then pressed my frets in.

My neck prior to gluing was straight, but then bowed slightly after fretting, which was expected.

Now I have to level the frets.

My question is, should I adjust the truss rod to get the board level? Or should I level the frets without adjust the rod.

The rod is not tight in either direction.....

And can I level the frets with the neck not glued to the body? (I have a neck jig I can use).

I like to straighten them out first, and nah, you don't need to have the neck attached to do it.

I am assuming you have a 2 way truss rod.... Straighten the neck and then level.

Straighten the neck first, with the truss rod.

i do my Leveling during the full mockup, just prior to painting.. this allows me to use the neck jig and I get to make sure the entire guitar is just the way i want it.

then once its painted.. it's only a small matter of assembly and clean up

Thanks guys...

And yes...I do have a 2 way truss rod...

So....If I didn't have a 2 way truss rod, how would I get the neck straight?

Right now it requires a slight relief, since it have a small back bow....probably around .010".
