Yeah, why not. Its not really modding your guitar either, if I am thinking that is the right bigsby. It should just go with the strap button, and then it curves over the guitar. No drilling recquired. Maybe Dennistruckdriver can help you out. He seems to be the man to talk to on this.

B7 requires drilling to mount it to the top of the guitar, it replaces the stop tailpiece as the anchor point for the bridge.

If you are going to put a bigsby go ahead and put a roller bridge on it to help reduce friction points and stabilize tuning.

You'll need some more posts to PM dennis, bro!

but that does look like the same one dennis had, captain_tightpants has it now. check in the "other guitars" section of the site, you'll see a thread he started where he put it on his Dot.

But to my knowledge, you may have to redrill the back strap button hole, remove the stoptail and slap that baby on there.

If its the same one dennis had, he said you didn't have to drill to mount it to the top of the guitar.

if its not the same one... then yeah, I'd do a bit more research.

not to be a search nazi, chaotic, but punch bigsby into the search bar and there should be plenty of threads show up.. or what for dennis to swing by and see this thread.

be warned and measure first, a friend of mine put a Bigsby on his LP and it would no longer fit in the case...

well I mean, if its something you know you're going to like (i.e. have tried one) then i'd go for it.

if not, i'd buy another les paul and put it on there... can never have too many LPs!

I don't know if I am 'the guy', but here is a photo of an Epiphone '56 Goldtop I put a B30 on. It required no holes to be drilled in the top of the guitar.

I always confuse them, it was the b30 I was thinkin' of, Dennis.

I wouldn't be drilling holes into the top of my guitar, especially for something I wasn't sure I wouldn't like.

FYI, the tremolo arm on your other guitars will not be like the bigsby.

The bigsby (IMHO) is more an overall tone thing than a vibrato for vibratos sake.

I love the tone a bigsby gives a guitar, I doubt I'd ever actually use the arm on it.

The B30 is 'licensed' which means it is made in Korea, so it costs a bit less than the USA made B3. Same basic gizmo, but less cost.
