I may do a deal for a vintage Les Paul so
I'm looking for some input. I'm sure there are some who have dealt with Denmark Street. Is it a good, reputable dealer? Any issues?

Thanks

I am very far from an expert on vintage stuff and have no personal experience but if this is the same company/shop that used to go by the name Music Ground i'd be wary.

Look/read at the linked story in the last post in this thread.

There are many threads/posts/stories online if you search for them from numerous sources regarding that companies business practices.

Gary Winterflood at Guitar Avenue is a much more trustworthy and reasonable U.K based dealer, I’d have a chat with him before dealing with any dealers in London.

Yuuki (aka Jumping@Shadows) on this forum is also super knowledgable and trustworthy, although on the face of it he looks to mainly focus on resurrecting badly gone conversions now.

The funny thing is that Justin Harrison wants to buy MY vintage LP. Justin gave my number to a "collector" in Austin, TX named Bob Feldman whom I've never heard of. Bob called me and wants to give me asking price for my guitar. He seemed like a nice enough guy on the phone.

Bob is a collector of Strats, and said that he played pro back in the day. I don't know of him, but that doesn't mean much. Here is his website link. Notice how clean the guitars are:

https://www.webuystrats.com

Maybe some of you veterans have heard of him? If he's associated with Justin whom many say is bad news, maybe this is some sort of scam. He mentioned a bank wire, but I don't know if those can be rescinded. Maybe I'll just sell it to my cousin and let him make payments.

Hard to tell from the pictures on his website if all guitars are legit. They all look correct but like you said, some are very clean. But they can be refinished at a certain point.
I don't see what can go wrong if he pays through bank transfer and you wait until you have the money in your account. I don't know what guitar you are talking about, but I assume that above a certain amount, collection would be wiser for either party.
What is the link with Justin Harrison?
