Hey guys,

looks like ESP decided to do another run of ESP Eclipse full thickness (YAY!!!!!).
My question is - do you guys think the maple cap has "sharp" or "rounded" edges?

I had an Eclipse II, but sold it because the maple cap/binding had a sharp edge and was hurting my forearm. My LP doesn't hurt at all because the maple cap/binding is smooth, not sharp. I see a lot of ESP players play in cowboy style for that reason (body between the legs), but I couldn't figure out how to play like that.

Very nice!

A wrist sweat band would take care of it, if it has a sharp edge.

I actually tried one, made of neoprene and still felt sharp. This is the reason why I ended up selling my original Eclipse. I also tried a martial arts pad, but it was too bulky.

I saw one at Amazon for archery that could be useful. Maybe if ESP launches the full thickness Eclipse in lefty...
