Anyone know if CTS or Switchcraft makes push pull pots?
That was the first place I went. Wasn't satisfied with what I did(n't) find. Decided to ask the audience. Thanks for your help, though.
At the risk of showing my ignorance, what does the "US spec" mean?Try mojotone. They sell good quality US spec push/pulls. I've used them and they work fine plus you don't have to have to different type of knobs. The stems are fine splined just like CTS.

And they drop right in to an Epi LP? No body modding needed?Alpha pots are metric being Asian made. The bushings are 5/16" diameter and the stems are coarse splined. By US spec, I guess I should say Imperial or American standards. The bushings are 3/8" diameter and stems have fine splines like CTS, or Gibson pots. These are what I used:

No, you will need to enlarge the holes to 3/8" but that's only 1/16 of an inch. I use a wood hole reamer and it only takes a few minutes. You would need to do that with any premium pots whether CTS, Dimarzio or Bourns. I find a link to a reamer and edit this post.

+1 on the mojotone. Got em in my Epi SG Custom, and they're smooth. I was under the impression that they are made by CTS, but I could be wrong. (it happens all the time)
CTS doen't make a DPDT push pull to the best of my knowledge. Switchcraft manufacturers switches and jacks.

My mistake. They have a bunch listed on a CTS site, but they aren't CTS pots.
I'm thinking that Alpha is what EPI uses on their higher end (and maybe all) their gits. I have a Prophecy custom plus and a 2010 Tribute..Alphas in all of them.No sweat.
The ones from Mojotone aren't too bad
Just stay away from Alpha. They are awful.
I think i have one for you that will drop in. PM me your addy and I can send it along if you still need it.
