I'm not even ready to handle the binding I've got to do and now TKO has branched us
out into purfling. What the heck! I'll never catch up.

BFCG, Is that purfling or the binding material itself? I really like that.

they add that extra "touch lf class" to a guitar IMHO..

But.. uuugh.. while i love the way they look I'd usually rather sniff my own toe jam...

The Korina Neckthrough LP i currently have on the bench is slated for 5 ply binding on the body, headstock and top of fretboard with a bw runner below the binding on the side of the board.. ugh... shoot me now

That is plastic binding material, what ever Martin Guitars was using 20 years ago but it is laminated with other strips, it did not come that way.

For the headstock I'm working on right now I let the ebony of the faceplate and fingerboard come out under the binding/ purfling.
