Pulling Strings After Tuning Down

Still,the regimen does produce a fine sounding,smooth tuning setup for me,so, i still follow it everytime i change strings,which is way less than i would playing out regularly.ymmv.

Thanks for taking the time to answer! This makes a lot of sense. I don't perform, but I see the value, especially after thinking about the corrosion I have seen on various bridges.

I am always pulling on my strings when I tune.
If the strobe is moving a tad sharp I'll try to stretch the string into tune 3 0r 4 times before I'll tune down.
Then if I have to tune down. You bet, I'll stretch before going back up.

Oh man.... ya... if it's just a hair sharp I'll be doing bends that put Gilmour... and Robin Hood to shame to avoid tuning down.
