Screw contracts.

I bought the Google nexus and went prepaid with AIO. They lease AT&T towers. I had them before, liked the service I was getting but disliked the customer service. For $55 a month I'm not gonna bitch. Unlimited texts, calls and data, but the data is 2 gigs high speed then it throttles.

They are all screwing use. It doesn't matter $$$$ trumps customer satisfaction.

Yup. None of us are going to rig up our own data/cell service, so they've got us by the balls.

I pay $73.50 a month, taxes and fees included with AT&T for

unlimited data (4G LTE)
1,000 texts per month
450 anytime minutes per month
5,000 nights and weekend minutes per month
Unlimited mobile to mobile minutes per month
And I have almost 3,900 rollover minutes right now

I've refused to get rid of this service plan. I've had this data plan for seven or eight years now. AT&T tried to play hardball to get me to dump my unlimited plan. They throttled me once, but that month I did use something like 2,000 gigs of data :). Oh, and when I got my iPhone 5 which changed FaceTime to 4G as well as wifi, AT&T said I can't use the 4G for that unless I changed data plans. I refused to and they changed that policy to where I can use it anywhere since. Sometimes even though I have wifi at home I like to watch a few netflix movies on 4G every few days just as a bit of an "I won" type maneuver :).

Oh, I do get a corporate discount on my account as well. Funny enough though, I haven't worked at that company for years.

Same plan we have, have it on 4 phones. Every time it go in to a ATT store I get the same story about how I "need" to switch to the newer plans. LOL no way! :laugh2:
