I've read a couple reviews on the net. The general consensus is that they are pretty damn good.

They go on and on about all the details that went into it, but don't actually name them nor do they give any specs.

But it is just a slab body routed and a neck fitted...not that hard.
Gibson's are cheaper and MIJ's even more so.

I played one of these last year at the Montreal Guitar Show. This guitar is top shelf all the way. I am not sure if the body is Spanish Cedar or Honduran Mahogany. If its Spanish Cedar, then a 2 piece body is totally fine in my book. The average width SC board is between 7-10". Wider boards are out there, but are super rare. I find one every few months, but save them for special guitar builds. My standard guitars that are built with Spanish Cedar are all 2 piece bodies. If 2 piece bodies are good enough for Ruokangas Guitars, they are good enough for me. :thumb:
