Nice work!
That was the thing. I was wanting alot of custom work, like binding, paint and other things I can't think of now. The guys were realy nice to talk to, and could satisfy my needs, but all the cash up front? Mabey its just me, but I have never done business lke that before. If it were just a kit, No problem. But with all the extras, I think they would have to be OK'd to proceed?
Well, don't you actually think that amount of custom work means they have more of a right to charge up front? After all, they are putting substantially more time into your project, and with that level of customisation, if something goes wrong, you change your mind, give up guitar for ukelele or similar, the higher the level of customisation, the less potential interest to another buyer.
Just sayin' it. I can sort of see your point of view, but I can see theirs as well.
congratulations on your build. I am a huge fan of Precision - have built one 59 les paul with P90s and the sound is unbelieveable - also plays so superbly. Has huge volume and sustain and sensitivity - here my review and pics on the precision site
