nice :)
I have a Classic, too. It's a wonderful guitar - one of my favourite guitars (if not THE favourite) since I got it.

Hi Klaus,
love this thing too. Has an outstanding tone, plays very well. Wide fat neck, this must be the secret. In fact, that´s a real classic guitar and bargain too - a beauty for sure.
Some said, that a wraparound bridge would be better... I say, that a wraparound is good, but I like the T-O-M bridge too.

MAD,
with a wraparound bridge it would be closer to a "real" SG Special - and I would like the look with a wraparound...but "better"? Who knows (I doubt). A good guitar is a good guitar, no matter if wraparound or t-o-m.
A wraparound can give some trouble. I have a LP with wraparound and had to change it because of a "sitar-effect" and intonation issues.
I like the Classic the way it is.

I have a Tonepros II wrap around bridge on my SG Special. The intonation is perfect because the bridge is adjustable, the bridge is locking so it doesn't fall off during string changes, also sounds better than the original

In place on the git, the one on the left:

Does such a configuration of a left handed guitar strung the other way not give intonation problems with the wrap around bridge? Or do you only play high up the neck?

I was worride that I would have to install a Badass bridge to get it right.
But there was just enought to adjust the wraparound to spot on intonation!

Again, an amazing SG
That alnico5 P90 really suck though!

I traded in my Epiphone G-400 Custom and bought this Gibson SG Standard in Natural Burst. Love, love, love this new SG. Looks great, plays beautifully and sounds great. What an upgrade over the Epiphone, which even with upgraded PU's, just didn't do it for me.

I miss my SG, wish I had never sold it.

Me back in 2007 with it, sold it in 2009 when I got my Les Paul. What a fool!

I know what you mean Alana. I did the same back in 2003 for financial reasons. (divorce)
My biggest regret. I knew the moment she left my hands that I'd never, ever be able to replace her. An original, unmodified 1967 SG Standard.
God I miss her.

That's her and I on the right back in '86. Good times.
