I looked through 10 pages of ES titles and found only two old, dead threads for ES in general. Rather than revive the ES owners thread, I'm starting a new one. Many, many years ago, I had an ES-175D. Should have kept it, considering what I paid then and what they cost now. About two years ago after all those years with out a hollow or semi hollow guitar, I bought a used and out of production 2019 ES-235 in ebony. Then a couple of weeks ago I spotted an unsold cherry ES-235, so I grabbed it. Didn't care that I was paying 2019 list. Here's mine. Post yours. I especially like the ones with Florentine cutaways, but all are welcome.

Wish I had one to post...but I'm loving this thread!
Me too . . . that's one thing that I have got to find sooner or later, a really nice Gibson (or Heritage) ES. I haven't found them any more consistent than Les Pauls though, it's been hard to find one that ticks all my boxes (light weight, slim neck, etc., etc.), and over the last 2 years the prices have gone way up too :(

But one day, you know.

Heres my hacked up ES-325. Found in a basement 20 years ago completely stripped (failed restoration attempt from the 80s). I rebound it and finished it in linseed oil. From sometime in the early 70s, cool that it has a one piece neck for a Norlin era guitar.

1989 ES-335

story goes, guy i got from had bought 3 or 4 of them, brand new in the cases....... all had necks snapped in transit in 1989.

they sat in their cases, never touched, until a year ago or so.

i got the last one....

Tite-Bond with a clamp as it was a clean snap, changed the strings and i was good to go...always wanted one, got a great price with the neck cracked, guy didnt play guitar just bought lots of stuff .

The Bill Lawrence pickups still had saw dust on them, i am pretty sure i was the first to open them from the factory. Plastic still on the guard.

Best cases ever!

there is one small torn 1/2 inch mark on the outside of the case on the headstock end....i still wonder how that neck snapped in the case but it had to hit hard....guy said a guy he got the 3 or 4 from had about a dozen of them originally bought as a lot.
