They break the shell or the skin?
Should really have offered to pay for it.
Sadly, some people are naturally dicks.

I've been in similar situations where the support act was in difficulty.
We helped 'em out.
They poured beer over my guitar as they walked off stage.
Nice.
You take your knocks, you learn your lesson, you play it different next time.
(Some) people are dicks.

-----------

That incident did not go unpunished - We owe it to other bands to educate people like that before their next gig.

By far the majority of bands we gigged with (headline or support) shared an enjoyable experience with us.
We helped them, they helped us.

Sorry this one didn't work out for you.

I see. That makes more sense now.

Yes, it really sucks when a gig that you look forward to, goes down the crapper.
Sorry to hear that it went so bad. You can't trust them damn musicians, especially drummers.

I've found all the bad gigs help me to really appreciate the good ones even more. Every gig is a learning experience, good and bad. Good luck on all your future gigs. :thumb:

The guys on after us were impressed we held it together enough to finish reasonably well, considering we played 2 songs with no snare and an amp cutting in and out all the time.

I'm bloody determined to put on a great show at our next gig at the G2, Bloody Determined!!

We stopped fighting. He claimed your drummer had a staggering.

Some good news. We tracked him down and after some backlash, he agreed to get us a new snare. Whether he'll follow through is another matter, considering they legged it and left us in the lurch after the actual incident. We'll see how this pans out.

And urban dictionary it, sure it'll be on there somewhere. Sure it'll be a hard-on joke due to the fact our drummers a woman.

By consenting to reimburse you for the cost/replacement of a new head, he has entered into a legally binding contract. Agree a time period between both parties for when the money (or replacement) is to be supplied.

That's what we'll do man, If it doesn't work out, we'll just tell every band we know not to gig with them cause they broke our stuff, and then let it spread like damp up a wall.
