My cockatiel Monty. 15 years old. I got him to keep me company when I became unexpectedly single. I've had him longer than I had her.:laugh2:

My best buddy Elmo. He was a stray holed up in the neighbor's playhouse in the dead of winter. He is one scary smart dog.

This is Sadie. She was a stray also. She adopted me. She was Elmo's big sister when we took him in. Sadly she passed away a couple years ago from cancer. She was my big Sweetie.

This is our bearded dragon "Spyke" She's a little over a year old, and as gentle as a lamb.
I really didn't think I could bond with a reptile, but she is one of the family now and we love her as much as any family could love a pet.

I can get a dog now at my apartment, but
i like big dogs and the management will only
allow us to have compact models. (Ankle Biters)

Too cool! We had border collies when I was growing up, a black and white one, and a red one like yours! Very special/amazing dogs.

Good on you for 'working' yours too, it pains me to see them as city pets, cooped up and confined. Ours had crazy endurance and wanted nothing more than to herd the sheep or play frisbee.

I have to find something for Max to do...right now he's by himself most of the day. He is pretty good, mostly sleeps I think, but when I get home he turns into a holy ****ing terror. He is into everything he can possibly get his face into. He has the poor old cat out of her mind! If you can't see him or don't hear him for 5 minutes then you better go looking because he's in trouble somewhere in the house. He is a very dominant dog and just doesnt listen most of the time.

I do take into consideration that he is still really pup at 8 months old.

I've been taking him out for walks in the snow which he loves and there's the endless hours of fetch and of course he loves to go for a ride in the truck. He seems to learn most of his tricks easily and I'd like to teach him something

Something like this would be great for him..

Here's the Queen herself....She spends most of her days upstairs since Max(puppy) came in like a hurricaine...She's a beauty I rescued from "the needle" at the very last second. She's been mine now for 8 1/2 years.

Bella and Penny (L-R). Penny was rescued from the Katrina floods in 2005. Bella was rescued from daughter #1 when she moved to New York City to attend law school.
