Nope--it's absolutely uncheckable, so you're taking a big leap of faith buying this guitar.

Unless the seller has documentation, I wouldn't touch it.

Oh I know there were post 03 BRW, I had one. But it is strange he won't give a hint of the documentation. As far as celebrity ownership, I could not care less about that.

Why would you unload that kinda a cash on something he won't document or answer questions on? Seems ridiculous. Be open and honest and he'll get a fair market value if it is what he says it is.

I assume whoever wins the auction will require the serial number, documentation, etc prior to paying. If Gibson won't confirm it, you're paying a big premium for a seller's 'word'.
