POLL - Do you like artificially aged guitars

my 2000 R9 is looking a bit used now - some laquer checking a nd the odd mark

and my Rossingtons are pre-aged


LOVE them both

What i don't like is BRAND NEW looking guitars

i picked up a murphy aged R9(2001) a few weeks back...didn't care for the cosmetics much.It was a great sounding guitar however..I wouldn't send my guitar in for it...my own lespauls (23 yrs) have their own wear and tear and look just fine...I'm still pineing for a 2005 R8 VOS that looks just fine to me,so i don't have a problem with lightly ageing...what still counts is how it sounds,if its good,i see past the ageing to what it is,a,great sounding guitar.
