What happened before the videotaped assault? Did those two loons just attack her/him for no reason or what?
she tried to use the washroom. that was all. read the story. watch the video.
peopel like us try not to draw attention to ourselves in public for this very reason. i seriously doubt she did anything to warrant assault.
..... as long as you don't harm anyone or push your agenda on others, do whatever it is you want.
I did...still doesn't explain what occurred before the videotaped portion other than 'she' went into the female bathroom and the two loons made note that it was a 'dude' going in there.
Not defending those two psycho's in anyway/shape or form but before rushing to judgement, we need the whole story.
Even in little ol' redneck Oklahoma, we have trannys, gay/lesbians and no one bothers to care about their 'difference'. Around here, as long as you don't harm anyone or push your agenda on others, do whatever it is you want.
Many places in Europe there are unisex bathrooms.
there isn't anything about what happened before that, because nothign did. don't you think the papers would have said something had something happened? we t-girls get ridiculed and brought low in the papers any time any one of us does something the least bit wrong. so if something untoward had happened prior, i think it would have been all over the papers. and then you all could sit there and say with righteous indignation that the f*cker got what she deserved.
"You could all" is a rather sweeping generalization don't you think? Not all of us would and I think, deep down, you know that.
Gee, what a concept! Why is this so hard to understand?
Dunno. People (i'm speaking generally here) seem to think that they are right and thus superior to everyone that is 'wrong' in their view.
I have two lesbians and a gay guy that work at my work center and I don't give a damn on their sexual preference. They are just normal, good people like everyone else. A little tolerance for EVERYONE would go a long way.
What irks me about this incident (and others) is how it's not plastered all over the major news...if a black person got a beat down like just for being black in McDonalds, it would be EVERYWHERE as a hate crime with talk of billion dollar law suits, changes to the state/U.S. Constitutions, official policy and everything in between.
